Sean specialises in health and safety and dispute resolution / litigation.
As well as currently studying for a Diploma in Health and Safety Law, Sean has recently acted on behalf of a number of clients in successfully defending prosecutions brought by the HAS and HIQA. He regularly advises on health and safety procedures and advises employers on their interactions and dealings with the HSA. He also provides bespoke training sessions at board, senior management and general employee level on their obligations under health and safety legislation and conducts health and safety audits. He recently conducted such an audit following a workplace accident and provided “crisis support” in response to major incidents.
Sean has also gained considerable experience in both plaintiff and defence litigation, including personal injury actions, medical negligence, professional negligence, defamation, product liability and work place accidents. As part of that he work, he corresponds and negotiates settlements with insurance companies and third parties in order to reach successful conclusions.
Sean’s experience is bolstered by his “in the field” understanding of manufacturing and production requirements while working as an Automation Engineer with Intel Ireland prior to becoming a solicitor.
