Derek Kelly recently joined Universal Electric Corporation (UEC) as Regional Sales Manager in Ireland. Derek’s primary responsibilities are to drive sales and business development in Ireland while expanding growth and awareness of the Starline product suite. Prior to joining UEC, Derek spent 23 years with ABB working in a variety of sales and business development roles, of which the last 12 were spent as Sales Manager of the Electrification Division. While at ABB, he concentrated his efforts on the data centre market and other renewable segments, such as EV Charging. A time served Electrical Technician, Derek has more than 35 years of experience in the Irish technological sector and membership in organizations such as the Electrical Manufacturers & Distributors Association and the Electro Technical Council Ireland.
