Ollan Herr has been a waste water engineer now for the past 30 years. Now that the “Circular Economy” agenda is becoming so important and phosphorus is in such limited supply, Ollan is now involved in providing systems to separate, recycle and reuse the nutrients that are contained in domestic waste water in order to grow food locally and sustainably; without the problem of toxic metals, ingested pharmaceuticals or the creation of greenhouse gases.
